DFNDR is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
If we discover that we collected personal information from a child under 16 without proper consent, we will delete it. Contact us at support@dfndr.app if you believe this occurred.
Information We Collect
DFNDR may collect the following types of information:
- Personal information: name, phone number, email address, company name, job title, user role, and account login information.
- Company and workspace information: company records, client records, employee or guard profiles, assigned sites, schedules, company settings, user permissions, and workspace activity.
- Platform information: guard profiles, client records, schedules, site details, post orders, shift activity, reports, daily activity logs, incident reports, photos, messages, notes, notifications, invoices, billing records, and related operational data.
- Location information: precise or approximate device location, guard clock-in location, guard clock-out location, site verification location, active shift location updates, location timestamps, and related location data used for shift accountability and operational visibility when location permissions are enabled.
- Photos and media: photos or images submitted with reports, incidents, daily activity logs, site records, or user profile information.
- Usage and technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, device identifiers, operating system, app version, pages visited, features used, timestamps, logs, crash data, diagnostics, and platform activity.

Payment card information may be processed by trusted third-party payment providers. DFNDR does not intentionally store full payment card numbers on its own systems.
- Communications: messages, support requests, emails, text messages, product feedback, and other communications you send to us or through the platform.
Location Information and Mobile App Permissions
DFNDR may request access to location information from guard mobile app users when location-based features are used or enabled.
Location information may be collected when a guard clocks in, clocks out, verifies arrival at an assigned site, works an active shift, submits activity, or uses another location-enabled feature inside the DFNDR mobile app.
If enabled by the company workspace and permitted by the user’s device settings, DFNDR may collect location information during an active shift to support live guard visibility, site coverage, attendance verification, safety, accountability, and client service reporting.
If background location access is enabled and approved by the user, DFNDR may collect location information while the app is running in the background during an active work shift. Background location is used only to support core security operations features such as active shift visibility, guard accountability, site verification, and operational coverage.
DFNDR does not use location information to sell personal information, for unrelated advertising, or to track users outside of DFNDR’s security operations features.
Users can manage or disable location permissions through their iOS or Android device settings. If location access is disabled, some features may not work properly, including clock-in verification, clock-out verification, site verification, active shift visibility, guard accountability, and client service reporting.
